Set of 2 first-edition greeting cards featuring the artwork of Stanley Wanlass. The image, entitled The Push, depicts the 1907 Thomas Flyer during the 1908 NY to Paris Race. 

Blank inside. Includes envelopes. Description on back reads "The 1907 Thomas Flyer pushes on hard in the great New York to Paris Race. The Flyer was among six starters departing Times Square in New York at 11:14 A.M. on February 12, 1908, to the cheers of over 250,000 people. It was the most grueling race ever run. The crew engaged in a titanic struggle against overwhelming hazards and exhaustion to cover 13,341 driven miles (over 21,000 including water crossings) to capture the win. They arrived at the office of the Paris newspaper Le Matin at 6:00 P.M. on July 30, 1908, to join the immortals of automotive legend."
